Collections Manager for Nashville Shared Service Center

The MIT program has been an incredible opportunity. Rotating throughout different departments has allowed me to gain knowledge of the revenue cycle, as well as gain experience as a manager and develop as a leader. We are given lots of tools and opportunities to expand our knowledge and grow as young professionals in the workplace. It has allowed me to be around and work alongside of other experienced leaders that have provided great guidance along the way. We are so lucky to be assigned to great director mentors and executive mentors who help provide guidance throughout the MIT program.

Medicare Shared Service Center

The MIT program has forced me out of my comfort zone by putting me in positions to become a well rounded leader. Prior to the MIT program, I was very uncomfortable with making presentations and hesitant to speak up in meetings. Just a few months into the MIT program, making presentations to upper management and taking a key role in meetings has become second nature for me.

Andrew S.

Nashville Shared Service Center

The MIT program has been an extremely valuable learning experience for me, especially stepping into it fresh out of graduate school. My experience so far has shown me the value of data driven decision making and the value of relationships built through servant leadership. Another great aspect of the program is the exposure and mentorship that you receive from other managers, directors, and executives. Much of the growth that I've experienced has been guided by the regular meetings with experienced professionals. This is an exciting time in healthcare and the MIT program is a great way to grow and learn leadership roles.
