Our medical surgical team treats patients with a wide variety of conditions. Med surg RNs achieve a breadth of knowledge as they work to identify and treat the conditions of each patient with a goal of keeping patients out of the intensive care unit. Medical surgical nurses have the opportunity to work in their choice of units: medical surgical, progressive care, med telemetry, neuro, ortho spine, cardiac, general surgery, oncology, surgical robotics and trauma are just some of the many units that leverage the unique expertise of med surg nurses. These are fast-paced environments where conditions can become critical quickly, and the nurse serves as the gatekeeper to getting their patients the necessary care.
As part of our team, you have the option to work on an individual unit at the HealthONE facility of your choice or float to each of our HealthONE hospitals in our med surg CARE Pool. The choice is yours!
