HCA Florida Putnam Hospital offers an Intensive/Critical Care Unit, Step-Down Care Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, medical and surgical units, family birthplace center, and a 24-hour emergency department. HCA Healthcare Nurse Residency program is a 14-17 week paid program featuring didactic and specialty clinical training in acute care. The length of the program varies by the specialty that you are pursuing from Medical/Surgical, Telemetry/PCU/Stepdown, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Critical Care ICU, Emergency, and more. StaRN allows new registered nurse graduates to obtain acute care nursing experience through training and clinical preceptorship. At the completion of the program, our trained nurses transfer to the hospital for unit orientation in their new RN career!
