HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility with over 30 years of experience in providing the highest quality of care to our community in the heart of West Palm Beach. We have been named one of the nation’s top performers on key quality measures by The Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Only 14% of the nation’s hospitals receive this honor. Our stroke program holds a Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission and has earned the American Heart Association "Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award". These distinctions are a direct result of our exceptional colleagues and their commitment to clinical excellence. Our services include an Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Vascular Care, Wound Management, a Pain Management Center, Primary Certified Stroke Center, and Orthopedic and Spine Institute.
We are also home to the largest provider of Behavioral Health services in Palm Beach County. Our 123-bed psychiatric unit offers special programs for children, adolescents, adults, and a specialized geriatric psychiatric program. Outpatient behavioral health services include an Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program for adults (IOP) and for youth (AIOP). Our facility is equipped with large private rooms, soothing environments and technologically-advanced medical equipment. Our Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses (StaRN) program is a 12-17 week paid internship providing new graduates the opportunity to start their nursing careers with specialty training in acute care! The program involves classroom training, simulation training, clinical preceptorship, and professional development. At the completion of the program our trained nurses transfer to the hospital for unit orientation in their new RN career!
