EIRMC StaRN Program for New Graduate Registered Nurses
We invite new and soon-to-be graduates to apply for our StarRN New Graduate program! This is a 14-17-week program of clinical training that allows new graduates to obtain acute care nursing experience through an intensive internship and then transition to staff roles within EIRMC.

Program Schedule
Part 1 - Classroom Training (first 7 weeks)
Instructor-led classroom training
State-of-the-art simulation including comprehensive debriefs
Self-directed learning
Part 2 - Clinical Preceptorship (remaining 7 weeks)
Conducted at the hospital
Regular development meetings between the student, the preceptor and your Director
Program Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Idaho RN or GN license required
Self-motivated and strong communication skills required
Program requires a minimum two (2) year commitment to the facility. Failure to meet this may result in repayment of facility investment.
