Colleagues at HCA Healthcare are connected to something bigger than themselves. Our scale enables us to deliver great outcomes for patients, and enables unparalleled opportunities for people to learn and grow. HCA Healthcare is one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services with 185 hospitals and approximately 2,000 ambulatory sites of care, including surgery centers, freestanding ERs, urgent care centers and physician clinics, in 20 states and the United Kingdom. Every day, more than 275,000 colleagues go to work with a collective focus: our patients. We seek to raise the bar not just for ourselves and our patients, but for healthcare everywhere.
HCA Healthcare helps recent graduates make the leap with a Nurse Residency that provides hands-on clinical experience and helps you develop critical thinking skills. During your residency, you’ll be surrounded by a community of experienced nurses and fellow nurse residents who will help you build a foundation for your career.
ITG currently offers two programs: The Pathways Internship and the Technical Residency Program. The Pathways program is a full-time 12-week summer program from May-August. At HCA Healthcare, we help students learn about the opportunities within the healthcare industry—both at the bedside with direct patient care and non-bedside roles. Our corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN partners with The Academy of Nashville college and career prep program to enable high school students to earn key certifications, so that they graduate high school ready to join the healthcare industry.
We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion across all areas of our organization and do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, disability, race, color, ancestry, citizenship, religion, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, medical condition, marital status, veteran status, payment source or ability, or any other basis prohibited by federal, state or local law.
HCA Healthcare's community support, delivered through the grassroots efforts of our employees, the HCA Healthcare Foundation and HCA Healthcare corporate sponsorships, helps sustain childhood and youth development programs, scholarships, community-based health clinics and the operating budgets of countless not-for-profit organizations across the country.
