Job Summary:

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in conjunction with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking an exceptional neurologist to join our residency as Program Director

Qualified Candidates:
  • American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology certification required
  • All neurology subspecialties welcome to apply; training in epilepsy, neuromuscular, or movement disorder are a bonus
  • Applicants must have at least three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments experience per the ACGME requirements
  • Devote a minimum of 35% FTE (1.75 days/week) of non-clinical time to the administration of the program
  • Neurology faculty to resident ratio of 1:1
  • Will be responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care
