POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Department Director, is charged with supervising all personnel in the Breast Care Center, as well as coordinating patient flow. The Clinical Coordinator performs technical duties when needed to keep the schedule on track and enhance efficiency of the department. Provides comprehensive education and support to technologists order to insure quality patient care and attract and retain qualified staff in the Breast Care Center.  

 

Qualifications

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist, California Mammography Certificate, Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 3-5 years of diverse diagnostic imaging clinical experience, Approximately 3-5 years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain comprehensive knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging policies, procedures, equipment use and regulations, as well as the ability to organize and direct activities of a large staff, Knowledge of Mammography Quality Standards Act, ACR accreditation process, principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of mammography equipment as acquired through satisfactory completion of an accredited program.
