Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Lab at HCA Florida North Florida is one of leading Cardiology programs in all of HCA and throughout the North Central Florida area. As an accredited Chest Pain Center, our Nurses and Cardiovascular Technologists are dedicated and experienced in advanced technologies providing direct care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab and new Hybrid Vascular Lab. Working together in our 5 procedural suites with Interventional Physicians, we deliver lifesaving treatments and are performing cutting edge procedures including Complex EP Studies and Ablations, Cardiac Rhythm Management Devices, Watchman, TAVR, Endovascular AAA, TCAR, Limb Flow, Impella and advanced Cardiogenic Shock. Heart and Vascular Care Units East and West provide pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing Cardioversions, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and invasive procedures within our Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, Vascular, Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neurology suites, 8 in total. Patients in these areas will be scheduled outpatients or inpatients requiring our superior services. Patients will be admitted, educated, and prepped for their procedures. After their procedure, patients will be cared for during their recovery phases in the HVCU East and West.
