As a full-service emergency department, the ER includes 11 private patient care rooms, a dedicated cardiac/respiratory resuscitation room, and full hospital lab and diagnostic imaging services including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound.

Gulf Coast Regional’s highly skilled team of OB/GYNs and nurses provide compassionate care for our expectant mothers in private labor, delivery and recovery suites offering a safe, supportive and homelike environment. Our specialized practice of using couplet care, a model of caring that emphasizes mother and baby being cared for together, as a pair or “couplet,” provides one nurse to personally help our mothers and babies off to a happy, healthy start during their stay at Gulf Coast Regional.
