HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited 404-bed hospital that builds on a proud tradition of healthcare excellence in Osceola County, Florida. HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is conveniently and centrally located in Heart of Kissimmee only minutes from Orlando, St. Cloud, Celebration and Poinciana.
Completed in April 1997 with over $125 million in expansions, HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is designed to be patient friendly that blends comprehensive state-of-the-art medical technology with the highest level of comfort and convenience possible for patients and visitors.
Located within the hospital is a 28 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility which provides comprehensive rehabilitation services through a patient centered interdisciplinary approach. Each patient receives a full complement of services including nursing, speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, psychology, and nutrition. This is the first program of its kind in Osceola county. This unit offers large private rooms with state of the art equipment and amenities.
Under supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager and the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services including therapeutic interventions in a team environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
The PTA shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
