Oviedo Medical Center is 64 beds and provides a full range of healthcare services to east Seminole County andsurrounding communities. Services include medical and surgical inpatient units,intensive care, medical cardiology, telemetry,inpatient and outpatient surgery,women’s services including labor and delivery, cardiopulmonary services,cardiac catheterization, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and 24/7 emergencycare.

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist(PT) provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitative services to patients toimprove mobility, relieve pain and disability.

Designs, implements anddocuments appropriate initial plan of care and sets measurable goals based onpatients' age, total needs perspective and environment

Demonstrates andarticulates sound clinical reasoning through synthesizing evaluation data frominitial patient assessment, medical history and physician orders to develop acomprehensive plan of care. Follows intervention protocols and adaptsconventional therapy techniques to meet the needs of the patient. Performsregular re-evaluations to determine patient progress and adjusts or alters planof care accordingly.

Records, monitors, andanalyzes clinical data to review, reevaluate and modify treatment plan andgoals.
