We are seeking a Critical Care Resource Nurse for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.   • Position Summary: Responds to and assists with all rapid response calls, alerts, and code blue arrests within the hospital.  Assists, as needed, with critical care transports and high risk procedures.  Performs preventative rounding on high risk patients to assess need for additional monitoring and interventions.  Assists in the ED during high census or high acuity peaks to stabilize patients and decompress the ED.  Acts as a resource for nurses throughout the hospital as an advocate, educator, and support in patient care.

Education
  • Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
Licensure/Certification
  • State of Florida RN License or appropriate compact licensure required.If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.  
  • BLS & ACLS AHA provider required at the time of hire.
  • CCRN or CEN Certification Required
Experience
  • Two years experience in a Critical Care setting required.
