Responsible for overall coordination of the day-to-day operations of the hospital while on duty. Specific responsibilities include: Performance Improvement; enforcing policies and procedures; staffing/productivity; and nursing care for specific patient populations. Works closely with staff, physicians, and other Directors to ensure quality patient care. Guides staff in the implementation of the nursing process and directs the cost effective allocation of resources.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
2 year associate degree. BSN is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
3 to 5 years related experience. Acute care or specialty nursing experience as appropriate.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated success and abilities in leadership, achieving results, communications, customer service and health care management.
RN license in the State of Florida. BLS, ACLS (Critical Care, ED, LDRP, HS)
