POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cardiovascular Technologist assists with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS certification.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
RCIS registry
Current BLS required; or BLS, ACLS Instructor (3/2016)
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
New hire/transfer into higher skill lever must obtain with 6 months. Required to work under ACLS credentialed CVT until training certificate obtained.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience.
