Oviedo Medical Center has 64 beds and provides a full range of healthcare services to east Seminole County andsurrounding communities. Services include medical and surgical inpatient units,intensive care, medical cardiology, telemetry,inpatient and outpatient surgery,women’s services including labor and delivery, cardiopulmonary services,cardiac catheterization, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and 24/7 emergencycare.
The OccupationalTherapist (OT) is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing andadministering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed bya licensed physician.
Administers treatmentsand occupational equipment as prescribed by a referring physician in an effortto restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease orphysical disability.
Assists patients toreach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to livewithin the limits of their capabilities.

Florida licensed OccupationalTherapist or eligible for state licensure.
