Northside Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist who has been trained in Interventional Radiology (IR). ARRT and BLS required. Shifts are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The ideal candidate will possess recent Interventional Radiology experience.

The Interventional Radiology Technologist demonstrates competency in all diagnostic and standard interventional radiology procedures; demonstrates effective communication skills as an active member of the Special Procedures team; and follows established standards and practices under the direction of the radiologist, invasive cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will participate in the on-call schedule as assigned.

  • Valid ARRT certification
  • Clear/active Florida state licensure (CRT)
  • Associate Degree / 2-year Radiologic Technology program completion
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 18 months experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
  • Lifting and/or carrying patients/objects/equipment (exert up to 75 lbs force and/or lift/carry up to 25 lbs frequently)
