Job Description:
Directs and manages the operations and activities of the Cardio-Pulmonary Services.  Responsible for the overall management of the department's daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by the Hospital Administration.  Responsible for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements.  Responsible for providing high-quality service to and acting as liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees.  Responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.  Among the other goals of this position are:  To maintain a professional and technical atmosphere within the department at all times.  To demonstrate strong leadership skills at all times.  To oversee all operations within the department.  To demonstrate expertise in Cardio-Pulmonary as it relates to managing the department.  To assure the patients, physicians and medical staff that the highest quality of care is given on a continual basis.

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA and/or approved School of Respiratory Care
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Respiratory Care. One (1) year experience in management, preferably in Respiratory Care
  • Current Respiratory Care License in the State of Florida
  • Current BLS Certification
This position is incentive eligible.
