Job Description:
The Ethics and Compliance Officer (ECO) is responsible for effective implementation and leadership of the hospital’s Ethics and Compliance Program (E&C Program). The ECO oversees and leads all responsibilities for ethics and compliance as described below. He or she provides advice to facility’s executive leadership, directors, and staff on ethics and compliance concerns. The ECO assists with interpreting and applying the Code of Conduct (Code), Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures (E&C Policies) and other communications. He or she performs periodic audits to ensure compliance and conducts investigations resulting from internal and Ethics Line calls.
Responsibilities Include:
In compliance with the emergency regulation issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) dated November 4, 2021, and company policy, this role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations, or to have applied for a medical or religious exemption (including booster for California).
