HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care hospital offering a wide range of surgical and medical services Since opening in 1974, we have distinguished ourselves as a leader in breakthroughs in orthopedic care as well as joint replacement. We continue to build on this tradition in our Orthopedic and Spine Institute. Our Center for Behavioral Health offers inpatient child, adolescent, adult and geriatric services while our outpatient services include a Partial hospitalization program (PHP), Intensive outpatient program (IOP) and a 24 hour behavioral health support hotline. Job Description:
Under the direction of the Administrative Director and in conjunction with the Medical Director, performs professional duties involved in all aspects of C.T. Scanning, with latitude for independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. Must have a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure. Must have advanced knowledge of the complexities of C.T. equipment. Assumes the responsibility for specified examinations and is responsible for introducing the basics of C.T. technology to the staff and students. Responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: i.e. toddler, child, adoloescent, adult, and geriatric. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups. Responsible for the daily workflow of the CT department, assist with employee evaluations, staff scheduling and corrective discipline.
