Description

Ocala Regional Medical Center is now HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Our 288-bed facility is located in the heart of Ocala. We are also home to HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency. With a Level II Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center, our hospitals offer a host of quality and award-winning services. These include orthopedic, cardiovascular, emergency and neurological care, robotic and weight loss surgery and rehabilitation services.

Ocala Health will maintain a Nursing Premium Float Pool of registered nurses to assist in supporting staffing needs within the facility.  The Nursing Float Pool will include Registered Nurses with clinical skills and competencies for multiple areas of the hospital. This agreement will set forth the qualifications, guidelines, training, work commitment and compensation for participation in the Nursing Float Pool.

  • Minimum (2) 8-hour shifts per pay period
  • 2 Holiday Requirement
  • 1 weekend shift every other pay period (or 4 week schedule)
  • Surgical Services – 2 scheduled Call shifts of which 1 must be a Sat & Sun at any of the Ocala Health locations

 

 


  • 2year Associate Degree

  • Maintain a current RN license in thestate of Florida or obtained within 180 days of hire if licensed withapplicable RN Compact Licensure

  • Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
  • Acute care hospital experience within the last three (3) years preferred
  • BLS
  • ACLS & PALS within 90 days of hire
