Accelerate your nursing career by joining our Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses (StaRN) program. Our Nurse Graduate Program is designed to help you prepare to succeed in an acute care hospital setting. The program is comprised of a combination of didactic training, high definition simulation and clinical preceptorship.
As an RN in our StaRN program, you receive the education and support necessary to develop the judgment, skill and knowledge you'll need to become the highest caliber nurse. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by the best, most highly educated and trained nurses within our facilities.
During the StaRN program, you will work with instructors to complete class assignments, skills training and exercises. Then, you will work with your preceptor during the preceptorship that follows. At successful program completion, you will be a valued team member with specialty training, established relationships and familiarity with our values and culture.
Our StaRN program has the following 2022 start dates: July 18, September 12, and November 7
Nurse Residency usually lasts 12 months. It is 2 parts: StaRN Program is 5 weeks and then the rest of the time is with the Facility Leadership and Education at the Facility with the unit:
First 5 weeks is StaRN Program:

• Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with intermittent home study days. Must be able to attend all days.

Preceptorship with the Facility – 6 weeks

• 3 - 12 hours shifts, rotating shifts
