We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for our hospital to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The Central Sterile Processing Technician II will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate and collaborate in the overall cleaning, disinfection, assembly, and sterile processing of instruments needed for daily surgical and invasive procedures. He/she is knowledgeable regarding instrumentation handling, care, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization. Is able to document all processes and ensure sterilization parameters are met in accordance with Hospital policy and AAMI standards. The Central Sterile Processing Technician II performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan for Swedish Medical Center. The Central Sterile Processing Technician II displays positive support for the values and mission of Swedish Medical Center. Call and weekends may be required for this position.

 

Schedule: 11am-7:30pm. Weekend rotation once/month.

Qualifications

  • Central Sterile Technician or Surgical Technician certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.                                           
  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous SPD experience preferred.
