HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is a 342 bed tertiary acute care hospital that has been serving the community for more than 75 years. It provides a 24-hour designated Level II trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac care services, women’s center, daVinci robotic surgery, neurosciences, pediatric care, rehabilitation therapy, sleep center, radiology, hyperbaric medicine, diagnostic/imaging services, and wound care facility. What you will do in this role:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Must complete BSN Program within 2 years of hire) 
  • Current TX RN licensure 
  • 1 year ICU-CCU experience preferred
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course and Certification
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
  • TNCC - Recommended within 1 year of hire 
  • ENPC - Recommended within 1 year of hire
