Job Summary and Qualifications


The Senior Technical Installations Leader will provide leadership to a highly visible, strategic corporate initiative responsible for refreshing infrastructure related to VoIP, Network, End User Devices as well as the OS and Security remediation of BioMed, systems in facilities across the HCA Healthcare enterprise. Position will serve as the primary contact for one body of work related to Tech refresh and Biomed project and will help with vendor accountability on multi-million dollar engagements.

Must be able to a large refresh related project and remediation effort in parallel while maintaining high customer satisfaction and achieving project timelines and milestones and budget targets. Needs analytical and project experience, good creativity; basic knowledge of the business implications of technical approaches, project planning and coordination skills, good communication skills, success in subordinate positions.

Specific responsibilities include vendor management, leading project meetings; provide infrastructure and client expertise to the project.


  • Overall Leadership and support of division Refresh and Biomed Device Program.
  • Serve as single point of contact for all corporate sponsored Infrastructure Refresh and Biomed security remediation and refresh needs; meeting regularly (in person and remotely) with Division leadership to ensure program success
  • Work with the department and project team in controlling cost and working within the assigned budget.
  • Maintain relationships with significant HCA Vendors along with several secondary vendors as key delivery mechanisms in the overall deployment strategy of the project.
  • Understand User Requirements and find appropriate solutions within the standard design
  • Document gaps between user requirements and biomed standards and facilitate the resolution of the design gaps
  • Provide subject matter expertise to field and corporate resources
  • Interface and communicate with all areas affected by the project.
  • Identify and resolve issues of security importance.
  • Respond to leadership issues and information requests within defined areas of responsibility as required.
  • Create, develop and maintain a customer focus that includes effective working relationships with key corporate and field teams to ensure through and ongoing understanding of project scope.
  • Perform duties with little or no supervision in an independent manner

What qualifications you will need:


Responsible for supporting assigned divisions, ensuring all respective FTR activities are completed on-time, within budget, and as designed/specified

Actively participate and provide support for all FTR game activities

Serve as single point of contact for all Division FTR needs; meeting regularly (in person and remotely) with Division leadership to ensure program success

Orchestrate and allocate resources towards all remaining activities; working with other FTR Implementation Specialist, support leads, and PMC resources as necessary to achieve joint FTR Program objectives on behalf of the Divisions/Facilities

Ensure timely, accurate, and complete procurement and receiving activities for assigned Divisions

Evaluate and implement FTR Program process and cost improvement opportunities

Responsible for budget planning and compliance while working in conjunction with FTR Leadership, other Delivery Leaders, PMC and F&A resources

Report functionally to the FTR Manager

Assist department leadership with projections and project scoping.


Bachelor’s Degree – Required

Experience can substitute for degree


7 or more years


  • Strong organization skills.

  • Competent with project management software, such as MS Project.
  • Competent understanding of IT project components.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Sitting for extended periods of time.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.

Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
