Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development and the care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • You will promote customer service initiatives.
  • You will assist with patient ambulation in room, hall and bathroom.
  • You will responds to call lights, requests from patient/family.
  • You will document vital signs and informs nurse of any change in patient status.
  • You will assist coworkers to meet patient care needs.
  • You will assist with monitor/telemetry placement, discontinuation, and trouble shooting.

What qualifications you will need:

  • CNA Certification, MA Certification or Current RN Student (college transcript required)
  • Current BLS certification (or obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
  • Current De-escalation training (obtain within 6 months)
  • Completion of telemetry monitoring/arrhythmia training
  • Successfully passes an arrhythmia interpretation examination annually
