Job Summary and Qualifications

    • Performs procedures in all designated modalities
    • Seamlessly moves between modalities to provide services in each designated modality routinely
    • Selects proper technical imaging factors by submitting exams denoting region of interest and or pathology. Evaluates the technical quality of the procedure ordered assuring that only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
    • Provides skill and service as documented in the job description for each designated modality.
    • Completes on-going continual education to improve job performance, maintain licensure/certification/registration, and stays abreast of current trends and practices.
    • Maintains and organizes supplies appropriately.
    • Fosters open communication by offering, encouraging, and accepting suggestions.
    • Meets established goals and objective

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of JRCERT accredited Imaging program required.


EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 to 4 years imaging experience preferred


CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/REGISTRATIONs

  • ARRT and/or ARDMS modality specific registry for EACH designated modality. BLS required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Vocational School Graduate
