Job Summary and Qualifications

The AVP of Finance and operations will report to the VP of Finance and lead the hospital operations focused care transformation product development. This includes understanding and analyzing the financial and business impacts of transformative solutions, studying and analyzing problems and opportunities, and leading the business representatives on product teams to build transformative solutions for hospital operators.

The AVP will also provide leadership to the Director of innovation role at the innovation hub hospitals. This role involves managing the day to day operations of all innovation facilities as it pertains to the execution of the design and testing of new products. They will work directly with the hospital CEOs, COOs, and CFOs to make sure the innovation locations are optimized for both care delivery and innovation and transformation work.

The AVP will also oversee the business analytics function of CT&I – a team responsible for analyzing process and performance metrics across service lines to identify and size opportunities for transformation as well as develop business cases to secure funding for broad implementation of products. 

Up to 50% travel

Adheres to all standard operating procedures of CT&I

Provides leadership to design teams (TBCD teams) to ensure clear understand of finance and business considerations

Identify and prioritize improvement initiatives to standardize operational processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and address gaps and opportunities in quality

Define and analyze performance metrics (KPIs) for discovery phases and business case development of care transformation products.

Review quantitative and qualitative initiative feedback and integrate iterations / updates early and often

Perform executive reporting on initiative-specific learnings and improvement areas

Will adhere to the standard operating procedures of CT&I, including all supportive technologies used to organize and progress work efforts

Education and Experience

CPA or MBA Preferred

Current Hospital CFO Required
