We are seeking a Manager of Patient Access for HCA Florida Ocala Hospital to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Ocala Regional Medical Center is now HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Our 288-bed facility is located in the heart of Ocala. We are also home to HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency. With a Level II Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center, our hospitals offer a host of quality and award-winning services. These include orthopedic, cardiovascular, emergency and neurological care, robotic and weight loss surgery and rehabilitation services
As the Manager of Patient Access, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations of all Patient Access functions and serves as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility.
What you will do in this role:
• Perform patient registration function when needed to ensure wait times are kept to a minimum
• Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff are adhering to the patient experience expectations.
• Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of Registration
• Provide continuous training for and communicates changes to existing employees
• Prepare payroll and completes monthly work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Follow-up on patient complaints promptly
