The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation. Supports department heads through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication and administrative functions. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and a timely manner.  Rely on experience, judgment, and be proactive to plan and accomplish goals adequately.

What you will do in this role:

 

  • Provide administrative support including typing, composing and proofreading correspondence, indexing and filing documents charts, schedules and presentation materials as needed.
  • Answer inquires or refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals
  • Maintains Outlook calendars and responds to email as assigned.
  • Schedule/coordinates meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Maintains schedule of use of conference rooms.
  • Maintains division policy and procedure manuals.
  • Ensure adequacy of office supplies and equipment

Qualifications

What experience and education is needed for this role:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Three Years of Administrative/Secretarial experience required
