Director (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is a tertiary acute care 342 bed hospital that has been serving the community for more than 75 years. It provides a 24-hour designated Level II trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac care services, women’s center, daVinci robotic surgery, neurosciences, pediatric care, rehabilitation therapy, sleep center, radiology, hyperbaric medicine, diagnostic/imaging services, and wound care facility.

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.

 

What you will do in this role:

Coordinates service live subcommittees; Facilitates data collection and analysis of outcomes data, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting of results to service line team; assist in the development of the cardiovascular business and marketing plan; Directs the cardiovascular operational services to ensure high quality, cost efficient patient care. Position is accountable for assessing, planning, developing, implementing, and coordinating strategies and tactics of the CV Service Line to achieve optimal financial performance, cost efficiency, business growth, quality performance, clinical superiority, and market leadership. Responsible for the coordination of care for patients within the chest pain center. Ensures that care of chest pain patients is a seamless approach across the continuum beginning with entry to the facility to final discharge. Assists with training and orientation of staff in the chest pain center. Responsible for overseeing quality initiatives related to patients experiencing a cardiovascular related event.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

  • Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Texas
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master’s preferred
  • Five (5) years clinical nursing experience with at least one (1) year of bedside experience in cardiovascular nursing.
