As a Payroll Specialist, you will perform the payroll processing function; including but not limited to, entry and maintenance of timekeeping edits, adjustments, voluntary deductions, involuntary deductions, and review/analysis of applicable payroll reports.

In this role you will:

• Accurate and timely payroll processing

• Understanding of Kronos time and attendance software, and Lawson payroll functionality

• Facilitates strong customer service relationships with external/internal personnel and peers

• Assists facility personnel/applicable accounting staff in research and resolution of payroll transactions as applicable

• Provides feedback and makes recommendations for changes to applicable forms/tools and processes

• Stays abreast of multi-state regulatory requirements and company policies

• Maintains confidentiality with all payroll information

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. Advanced education not required, but considered a plus.

• Previous payroll processing experience preferred; healthcare experience considered a plus.

Certificate/License

• Certified Payroll Professional considered a plus.
