Senior Manager - Strategic Workflow Optimization 
 

The Senior Manager - Strategic Workflow Analytics will be a key player in identifying and executing initiatives that result in increased operational efficiencies.  From conceptualizing and drafting the initial business case to execution using various methods. This Senior Manager will be collaborating with stakeholders while improving revenue cycle workflow.  The Senior Manager will drive collaboration and consensus within the business to ensure that the end product attains high levels of adoption and acceptance.  The Senior Manager must have a quantitative mindset and able to develop metrics demonstrating improved workflow from an end-to-end perspective.

 

DUTIES include but are not limited to

 

  • Shadows and learns various revenue cycle job functions in order to determine potential workflow enhancements
  • Develops, coordinates and follows through on team ideas and solutions
  • Conduct design study processes; conducting studies in support of system redesign and business process reengineering, improvement and management; developing implementation plans; and supporting the process of implementing and sustaining improvements.
  • Writes business cases regarding idea proposals; understanding and including technology, software and labor costs. 
  • Assist with educational materials to communicate changes
  • Maps out current state and future state using software such as Visio
  • Maps out changes to workflow using products such as UI Path; develops automation yourself using RPA tools; interfaces and collborates with technology teams and leadership teams or larger scale efforts
  • Serves as liaison between Site Lead, SMEs and SSC team members
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Quantitative Skillset
  • Provide business process reengineering (BPR) support process improvement engagements with the SSC's
  • Lean Continuous Process Improvement and design initiatives aimed at: improving the customer experience, reducing errors, reducing expenses, increasing revenues and creating capacity. Ability to measure and tracl ROI and build cost savings models based on key metrics
  • Adaptability: maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment
  • Communication: communicates clearly, proactively and concisely with all key stakeholders
  • Data Technology: user knowledge of computer science principls, software development lifecycle and monitoring and audit to design and develop automatiion according to company standards. Leveraging data, database and data analytics tools such as SQL, Essbase, Tableau and Power BI) to evaluate business cases, track metrics and KPI, and demonstrate process and efficienct improvements. 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics/Analytics, Information Science, Engineering or similar field of study
  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience required, preferably with Parallon
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with data and technology
  • Must have strong analytical, written, and presentation skills and the application of quantitative analysis techniques as applied in a revenue cycle environment
  • Proficiency in RPA tools, database and datamodeling preferred. UIPath certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green-Belt certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience within healthcare operations preferred
