Job Summary and Qualifications

Summary:

Under the supervision of the licensed nurse, performs basic nursing care and personal care activities to patients according to their scope of practice, identified by the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry; unless the skill or task is not allowed for practice by a Certified Nursing Assistant I Mission/CarePartners.

Qualifications:

Required Education: GED

Preferred Education: High School Diploma

Required License: Must have and maintain current listing with NC Division of Health Service Regulation. Must have and maintain current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification. Valid Driver’s license for Home Care.

Required Experience: None

Preferred Experience: At least one year’s experience as a CNA.
