Seeking a Transplant Financial Analyst for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of authorizations for complex medical cases including the peer to peer review process.
  • Develops and supports the patient financial counseling process which may include conducting patient education classes, financial counseling and or attends patient tracking meetings as designated.
  • Provides direction and support to the transplant and clinic clearance team by assisting with the interpretation and education of payer medical coverage policies and authorization requirements.
  • Acts as a liaison to assist in maintaining effective relationship with clinical staff, physicians and hospital departments by addressing escalated financial clearance matters.
  • Handles urgent issues for the clinic and department. 
  • Coordinates with clinical case management/social work, patient access, and clinic personnel. 
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a hospital environment in a revenue cycle role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing numerous projects simultaneously and process improvement.
  • Working knowledge of financial and basic clinical terminology preferred.
