The Division Manager of Physician Contracts oversees the respective HCA division and facilities’ physician contracting process for professional and administrative service agreements. Responsible for obtaining appropriate internal approvals, drafting, finalizing and maintaining new and existing agreements and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Establish and maintain relationships between division contracting department and facility administration, legal counsel, and other relevant parties as needed. Contracts consist of referral source vendor, provider, and service type agreements. Supervises contract administrators and generates reports and tracking systems for the purpose of tracking the physician contracts inventory and expiration dates. Maintains the Physician Contract Management database for the respective HCA division. This opportunity is for the Capital Division which encompasses 19 hospitals, including HCAs second largest facility, 400+ bed Chippenham hospital!

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in healthcare or business related field;
Four or more years of relevant experience required, including legal and/or physician contracting experience.
Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred
General knowledge of the healthcare industry.
General knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, compliance and relevant state and federal laws.
High degree of initiative, critical thinking and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal skills, ability to use databases, Microsoft Office, and other software applications.
Strong ability to multi-task and handle various requests from multiple facilities and parties.
Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload based on facility/division needs.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Degree of Supervision Required:
General guidance and direction by division leadership.
Expected to perform most job duties independently and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
