Position Summary:

The position’s primary duty is the daily treatment of all patients in the Radiation Oncology Department. Performs a variety of Radiation Oncology procedures including treatment planning and simulation.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

  • ARRT
  • CRT
  • BLS

Education:

 

  • AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapy, certificate obtained. OR
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Health Science/Radiation Therapy.

Experience:

 

  • Five years of experience in a Radiation Oncology Department as a Staff Therapist.

Special Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to set-up and operate radiation oncology equipment.
  • Knowledge of patient care and sterile techniques.
