We are seeking a Coordinator Food & Nutrition Services for our department to Act as point of contact for the Food & Nutrition Services Department, Managers and Director. Provides administrative support by performing a variety of duties for efficient operation of the department as well as support Retail Services, Catering and Dietary areas.. We want you to apply now!
What you will do in this role:
-Manages the Food and Nutrition’s general office duties including but not limited to: answering phones, vendor information, correspondence/reports, scheduling meetings, mail distribution, managing calendars/setting appointments and other administrative projects as needed.
-Attends meetings, prepares agendas and meeting minutes as required.
-Monitors and updates the Kronos payroll system. Enters vacation, unscheduled time and missed punches as necessary. Assists management in updating employee attendance records.
-Knowledge and adherence to office/departmental procedures and hospital policies and procedures.
- Responsible for weekly/monthly financial reports and assists with processing invoices and purchase orders for approval.
-Assist in FANS point of sale responsibilities relating to cash handling, audits and monitoring inventory levels.
- Orders supplies, uniforms, etc.
- Troubleshooting department tasks as appropriate and ensures office equipment if operational.
- Provides administrative assistance to the Director and Management team.
- Represents department in all front office related dealings displaying good customer service
-Confidentially maintains all departmental files including but not limited to employee records, training records, pay records, purchase orders and vendor contracts/invoices in an orderly fashion.
-Provides assistance to support Dietary tasks that facilitate the provision of food services and nutrition support to patients, employees and visitors.
-Provides assistance to support Retail and Catering services which may include cold food prep, PDR attendant and performing Barista duties in the Kiosk as scheduled. This position will also provide customer service to Physicians, employees, and hospital visitors.
