We are currently offering a SIGN ON BONUS $5,000 and Relocation Bonus up to $3,000.

 

Work Schedule: Full-Time(Nights 7p-7a)Rotating Weekends

POSITION SUMMARY:

The PDSN supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The PDSN supports multiple units on off-shifts and some weekends. The PDSN provides guidance and education on the hospital’s standard of nursing practice, policies, and  procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
Education and Training Experience Required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Two years of experience Registered Nurse required
  • One year of experience in leadership role
  • One year of experience as Preceptor
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: 
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • RN with current licensure or RN with temporary permit to practice from  the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification
