Position: Patient Care Tech - Float Pool
Is able to prioritize multiple requests for assistance in emergent and urgent situations.
Attends all mandatory and departmental education inservices and participates in performance improvement programs.
Is dependable, punctual and does not abuse sick time.
Maintains the cleaning and/or sterilization of all anesthesia equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, AAMI and Hospital Practice Guidelines.
Cleans and restocks anesthesia equipment after each case and at the end of the work schedule, providing preventative maintenance and terminal cleaning within established parameters.
Demonstrates positive and effective communication skills which relay clear, timely and accurate information.
High School diploma or equivalency.
LNA License in NH
Previous experience or one year on the job training desired.
Must have working knowledge of hospital and surgical services policies and procedures with practice experience desirable.
