We are seeking a Student Rad Tech for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.  Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services and the Radiology Coordinator, the Radiology Technologist, Limited License, is responsible for the provision of a limited number of radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders.  Provides for patient safety and high quality testing.

What you will do in this role: 

 

  • Assist in the maintenance of certain equipment in the department, including cleaning and minor repairs.    
  • Facilitate departmental operations through completion of all patient logs, charge requisitions and other paper work. 

  • Participate in rotating coverage of unscheduled shifts and holidays to provide continuous availability of coverage.  

  • Prepare patients appropriately for extremity, chest, and spine roentgenographic examinations as prescribed by patients' physician.

  • Set both mobile and stationary equipment for use.

  • Performs routine extremity, chest, and spine roentgenographic examinations and assists in other areas of the department.                                                              

Qualifications

  • Scheduled to Graduate an ARRT certified program within 6 months
  • Previous experience in hospital environment preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification
