Supervises daily operations of CPS production area, both daytime, night shift and or third shifts. Hires, trains, develops staff. Produces finished goods for CPS to established production schedules, designs, and established quality standards. Implements and enforces “best practices” of co-workers to surgical “kitting” industry. Ensures raw materials used for production are within ROi compliance standards. Ensures proper handling of materials to minimize scrap losses. Plans for optimum labor utilization by scheduling and planning of available shop orders awaiting production. This position involves direct interaction with operations executives, department directors, inventory control personnel, group purchasing managers, clinical consultants, external suppliers/vendors and supply chain co-workers related to CPS operations. Direct management of co-workers will be required of this position.
