Position Summary:

 

 

 

 

Plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily operations of the Cardiovascular departments. Assists with workflow as necessary. In collaboration with other Cardiovascular/Imaging managers, performs the duties of the director in his/her absence. Provides a variety of administrative -related functions including responsibility for the operational management of Imaging Services departments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required Registration, Licensure or Certification 

  • Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists & current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts • OR Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse. 
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days

Required Education or Experience

  • Graduate school of Radiologic Technology or nursing (RN) school. 
  • 2 years’ experience 
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Knowledge and Skills 

  • Progressive management experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively 
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
