Marketing Director – Marketing

Serving such a large and diverse region requires HCA Gulf Coast Division to offer a range of programs that meets the needs of young and old, acutely ill and chronically ill. Just some of our services and outreach efforts:

What you will do in this role:

Facilitates hospital-specific implementation of marketing and community relations initiatives across multiple hospitals to enhance facility reputation

  • Trusted strategic partner of facility and division.
  • Member of larger operations team that provides support to all GCD facilities.  May be called upon to assist, work or lead projects across division.
  • Resident expert on facility business plans and strategies.
  • Expert at managing relationships:
    • Facility administration teams
    • Physicians
    • PPR
    • Community
    • Division
  • Assists in managing crisis response.
  • Manages internal and external communication needs for respective facilities.
  • Understands and is adept at navigating facility culture
  • Provides world class reporting solutions, including reporting of results.
  • Growth expert, brings new ideas and information to hospital leadership.
  • Oversee business plan implementation of the marketing plan
  • Promote brand awareness through coaching facility teams on brand book
  • Reports to the Sr. Director, with a matrix responsibility to division leaders and facility leadership teams


What qualification you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or related field
  • Five to ten years marketing, communications or public relations experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to foster collaborative working relationships, and function effectively within a matrix reporting environment Familiarity with common office software, social media platforms as well as ability to build and communicate with spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.   
  • Professional email/phone etiquette.
  • Compassionate, self–motivated team player who is comfortable working with high expectations and demands of a high-performing marketing team.
  • Adept at follow through, strategic thinking, managing expectations, conflict resolution, and problem solving.
  • Consistently manages up and is proactive.
