Clinical Orthopedics Coordinator RN

Schedule: Full-time


Position Summary:  The Orthopedic Service Line Coordinator is responsible for utilizing a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to coordinate the care of the orthopedic patients.  In addition the Coordinator will be responsible for assessing the therapy needs of patients (and in collaboration with Nursing Services, assessing the nursing needs of patients), planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care.   The coordinator may also provide direct care within their scope and practice and delegate/collaborate care with other disciplines and non-licensed staff as it relates to the outcome and care of the orthopedic patient. 


Medical City North Hills is a 160 bed acute care facility that serves the growing population of Northeast Tarrant County. In addition to specialty care in Cardiovascular and Women's Services, Medical City North Hills provides adult and pediatric outpatient surgery, and is also home to Texas' first children's outpatient surgery center.

Position Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Nursing

Current Texas PT, OT, or RN license BS or above

Current BLS Certification

Clinical experience in the care and management of orthopedic patients preferred

Advanced Certification related to Orthopedics recommended



Must have minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience in an area of practice related to orthopedics

Must have well established leadership skills

Must possess program development skills and have experience in infrastructure development.
