Job Summary:
  • Your role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies and procedures.
  • Your role provides supervision for Case Management staff. You are responsible for daily oversight of Case Management operations, including expense and labor management.
  • Your role is responsible for reviewing and updating policies and procedures per regulatory requirements.
  • Your role has responsibilities for the oversight of the Parkridge Medical Center campus, under the direction of the Market Case Management Director.
  • You will choose appropriate channels and times to discuss complaints or concerns.
  • You will evaluate collected data and prepare reports assessing accuracy, completeness, timeliness, progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
  • You will maintain confidentiality by following hospital rules and reminding others when necessary. (HIPPA)
  • Your role actively participates in continuous quality improvement activities by making suggestions for improvement and helping to make positive changes to include quality control, quality assurance, safety and inspection control practices. 
  • Your role performs assignments as directed by Market CM Director accurately in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited RN program.
  • Licensure/Certification:  Registered Nurse (RN) license required or RN Compact State Licensure in the State of Residence. Case Management Certification (CCM) or American Case Management Association (ACMA) certification preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years acute care experience and Case Management or Utilization Management preferred.
