Job Summary and Qualifications

The Controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.


What you will do in this role:

  • Demonstrates competent administrative, leadership and accounting skills.
  • Manages department expertly, focusing on budget performance, productivity and financial performance. Solves problems, communicates effectively with administration, aligns decisions with values, remains professional at all times. 
  • Assists other departments in managing and meeting labor and productivity targets, as well as creating managing, monitoring departmental budget performance. 
  • Fosters an environment where cooperation, communication, teamwork, diversity, and group efforts are values. Leads the team to make appropriate business decisions. 
  • Continues self-development, seeking opportunities to broaden and expand knowledge base.
  • Reflects HCA values and supports the Ethics and Compliance Program.
  • Leadership: Promulgates and efficiently models corporate values. Communicates and gains commitment to corporate values and direction among management and employees. Creates a "winning spirit" and "making things happen" environment. 


What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting- Required
  • CPA- Required
  • Hospital Accounting Experience- Required
