Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the hospital’s quality and regulatory reporting functions, and assuring survey readiness at all of the St. David’s North Austin Medical Center Campuses. You will work with staff at all levels in the organization to continuously evaluate and improve processes to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance and reporting requirements as defined by the Joint Commission (JCAHO) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards. You will facilitate quality/safety meetings, conduct quality/safety improvement activities, and coordinate additional quality/safety and regulatory reporting initiatives as defined by HCA and St. David’s HealthCare Partnership.

  • You will coordinate, direct, and support regulatory survey activities
  • You will develop and implement a continuous regulatory compliance program
  • You will ensure compliance with quality and regulatory reporting requirements
  • You will ensure compliance with the applicable evidence-based standards
  • You will utilize Quality Improvement methodologies to facilitate improvement initiatives

Experience

  • Prior job experience demonstrating leadership, management, and successful communication and interpersonal skilled – preferred

Education

  • Graduate of an applicable school with Associate Degree or higher level education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or other healthcare related field – preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification – preferred

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is a multi-specialty hospital in Texas with more than 360 beds. The facility is home to St. David’s Children’s Hospital, St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas featuring a Level III NICU, a Kidney Transplant Center, and the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery. Additional services offered at this medical center include 24-hour emergency care, heart and vascular care, neurology and neurosurgery, rehabilitation services, and inpatient and outpatient surgery.
