SCHEDULE: Full Time 1.0 (40 hours per week)
SHIFT: Mixed with Rotating Weekends
Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, Director/Manager of Imaging, and Radiologists, the CT Technologist will perform all computerized tomography imaging procedures/exams in adherence to established departmental policy/procedures, and State guidelines, using best practice to ensure lowest possible dose.
Minimum: Current ARRT, Current Certification in CT, Current CRT and Fluoro, Venipuncture License, and Current BCLS issued by the American Heart Association within 2 weeks of employment.
Minimum: Must have at least one-year experience as a Rad Tech plus one-year of continuous experience as a CT Tech. Must have appropriate knowledge of medical terminology, with the ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures, diagnoses, and knowledge of human anatomy and pathology. Previous cross-sectional anatomy required.
Preferred: Prior experience on GE, and AIRO CT scanners is preferred. Ability to perform CT exams such as: perfusion, angiograms and 3D post-processing is preferred.
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
Minimum: Demonstrate excellent skill in performing under stress and frequent interruptions, and/or distractions, ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations. Ability to prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks to completion, within allotted time. Ability to show attention to detail accuracy and thoroughness, technical proficiency involving intravenous injections, good communication and organizational skills.
