The Medical Lab Scientist ASCP organizes and performs the daily activities of his or her assigned sections. The section(s) may be Chemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, Microbiology or Immunology. The MLS ensures that performing the daily activities and the validity of test results and quality control are completed for the specific section to which he/she is assigned.
